Bug is still occuring in Wine 1.7.1

I would really like some information on any progress regarding this bug.
There's been more or less nothing said or done about this bug in a long time,
to my knowledge, and that's troubling. Just some progress updates, or any
indication that someone on the dev team is at least aware of this, and doing
something about it.
