The Mac driver does not support using Command-C to copy.  Command-C is
transmitted to the Windows program as Alt-C, which doesn't mean anything in
particular in general.  (The Windows program is free to do what it likes.  In
many cases, it will activate a top-level menu whose access key is "C".)

Given that, I have to ask: are you using plain Wine or a modified version?

Anyway, if Control-C crashes the program, please attach the crash report. 
Also, please collect a +tid,+clipboard log.
