You may be interested in my command stream work I've posted to
http://www.winehq.org/pipermail/wine-devel/2013-September/101106.html . This
patchset implements a feature similar to __GL_NV_THREADED_OPTIMIZATIONS in
wined3d itself. It isn't complete yet, but it improves a lot of games already
and should work on all drivers.
