I 1st tried to override .dlls, but they didnt seem to have effect.

Then I finally used winetricks to override d3dx9_36, it wanted to download
directx. Not sure about the version, but it had 2010 in it's name.

After rerun, I get the game looking like in attached picture. Only d3dx9_36 is
overrun.

It's working a lot better, but still water isn't like it should.
