You have to be patient.
The app churns the CPU for some time (10-20 seconds) until the user interface
is shown/ready.

Anyway, the moon display is fine - I don't get any artifacts (with zoom in).
You can also play/verify with OpenGL settings/tweaks on 'Setup' property page.

In my opinion the original issue is no longer present -> 'fixed'.
I leave it up to you to confirm.
