Hello James,

what exact AVAST version are you referring to 9.0.2011 9.0.2013 ... ?

Additionally please upgrade your Wine version to a more recent one, preferably
Wine 1.7.18+

If you don't know how to do that, visit WineHQ user forums
(http://forum.winehq.org/) and get help there.

I'm surprised there is still a Linux distro shipping pre Wine 1.x
Bug reports with such an old Wine version are potentially invalid.
