It seems judging by [3], Adobe license for their older software says that if
user gets CS2 (or its individual products) directly from Adobe then there is no
legal measures for Adobe to stop the user from using it in any way.  

This would mean, if in addition you use serial numbers released by Adobe in
parallel, then even if it's not an officially confirmed way, it is not a legal
crime.  Some kind of of moot point.  

And by that I guess that using serial number for Adobe Acrobat 8 Pro given
officialy [3] and official download URL [2] means that anyone is legally free
to test the software (just maybe not use it for production to avoid legal
mootness as much as possible).  This sounds nice in the case of Wine testing.

IANAL, can someone bring more clarity here?
