So AFAIK, this only happens on the official wine-devel and wine-staging PPAs,
which are only up to RC2, so it a) May be fixed in RC 3 or b) May not be a
problem in your particular build c) May only be in the Win-on-Win64 (WoW64)
builds of WINE if you are on a 32bit system. The Debian/Ubuntu build process is
very difficult and when I was building Wine by hand (because there were no
WoW64 binaries,) it was easy to miss a step and screw it up.

The following steps /should/ reproduce the error:
On Ubuntu 16.4 (Xenial LTE) add wine-staging PPA from instructions at winehq
Install Battle.net client
Install WoW
Try and log in.

If that fails to reproduce, try adding a mobile authenticator to your account,
that might be the bit that causes issues. If any logs or whatever I can gather
will help, let me know.

I know that rolling back to 1.9.24 devel build fixes this.
