- Bug severity is normal, not critical.
- Attach logs, do not paste them.
- The bug is in component mshtml.

I have a Logitech G700 mouse.

Installing ie8 (with winetricks) works around the bug, but the SetPoint
software is unable to detect the mouse through wine anyway.

I could configure the advanced mouse settings in a Windows Vista VM (virtualbox
+ extension pack):

Both the mouse and receiver USB devices must be added to the USB device list in
the VM settings. When the two devices are enabled from the USB device menu, the
VM captures them, and then the SetPoint software can configure them.

This was the only way I could find to use the advanced features like changing
button functions or laser/movement speeds. The settings must be saved in the
memory of the mouse to be kept between reboots and used in Linux.
