 thanks for your effort. I applied your patch and get the following:
> > wine/tools/specmaker> ./pedump -x /dosd/cae/gcprevue/gcprevue.exe
this has to be called with 
./pedump -x -d /dosd/cae/gcprevue/gcprevue.exe
as the Usage lines (almost) mention ;-)
