Yes, especially if you know Notes well, it could be interesting for you
to work with the Notes maintainer (who I guess also knows Notes quite
well). Between you two you should get a pretty good coverage.
Part of the job of an application maintainer is to build up a knowledge
of the common issues with the application, and act as a repository of
sorts for workarounds and tricks, an ideally put these on the
applications's page in the Application Database (not sure if this part
is very feasible right now).
