I just ran ooowriter.exe under my Slackware 9 box with Winehq CVS from
two days ago with no major issues. When I first run OO it gave me a ton
of warnings about the winedefault.reg so make sure everything is
registered properly. Also I think the soffice.exe was a hold over from
the upgrade of the OpenOffice 1.0.x install I had. It may register
addional componates on first run so if you need a soffice.exe you can
download the one from here
http://mail.gleneagle.net/sedwards/soffice.exe
It reports version 1.0.7 as the build.

Anyway I have had a few crashes in ooomath and other programs but the
writter is working fine for me.

Thanks
Steven
