Apps with problems during install using Managed Mode

To be able to use those installers properly, maybe it would be easier to 
change the current unmanaged mode so that apps still integrate with the 
desktop environment (they have a button on the panel to which the minimize, 
etc.) but are not completely managed. (Similar the Xmms for example maybe?) 
Just a suggestion.
