Try a WINEDEBUG=+ver run.

That should give you the details of the version reported by the dll.

You're looking for a line with "trace:ver:VERSION_GetLinkedDllVersion"
and a bunch of numbers separated with slashes. Post it here, along with
which dll it is exactly, if you can determine it.
