Feri, I haven't had a chance to look at the code. All I know
is that it's better to not mix GUI stuff with threads, especially
when it's not necessary. I prefer to keep things simple, this
way more people can participate. But of course, I comment without
even seeing the code, so please take this with a huge grain of salt.
