I have some news, with strace, I have seen that the hang occurs during 
an ioctl on /dev/dri/card0. After having chmod'ing the /dev/dri 
directory to forbid access; all work normally. So the problem is 
definitely related to xorg (xorg vers. 6.7.0 ) which is indeed a 
difference between mandrake 10 (Xfree 4.3).
