I'd certainly feel positive about Karlsruhe, especially since it's
during LinuxTag and thus people could also visit LinuxTag...
Cyprus has been mentioned a few times, but it's not a good idea since
I've had some holidays there already. (just joking ;-)
I can't say I liked Cyprus a lot, though.

I could get together with Joerg and think about planning this event,
although I'm currently still quite busy with job, new home, car repair, ...
