Funny, I did the same thing at one point.
Worked well but was slow.

I ended up using Shockwave in a VMware session because it was just
infinitely faster than using Shockwave by means of Wine.

I think I was playing the game at www.isketch.net.  It was unplayable
with Wine, but worked fine (= fast) in VMware.  Wonder why.
