Well I was going through some old emails and saw I promised (after a 
'discussion' with Alexandre) to come up with a patch to skip this test.

I only just now read the whole chain and saw that he said not to worry that much 
about win98 failures. What I will do instead is move the failing test after the 
check for the W-call, that should solve this particular issue.
