every windows should be good enough. If something differs between Home and 
Pro, or between XP / 2k / vista, then it is ok to implement any of those 
behaviors in Wine, since apps shouldn't depend on the exact results.

If you find a concrete app that depends on a specific winver's behavior, and 
the app doesn't run elsewhere, then this should be documented with a test 
that checks the Windows version and compares the results. In that case you 
should also mention which app motivated the version specific behavior. (Most 
apps that are that way depend on win9x things, do not run on 2k/xp and are 
pretty rare).
