Sorry I want to be clear. I mean I think its unreasonable to be
maintained by Alexandre for hundreds or thousands of patches if there
is a good bit of backporting. Assuming as my second paragraph does
that 1.0.x is with us for a long time to come there could be a good
bit of work in a year or two just to get a simple fix to apply.
