Are you working on a SMP system?  I had redraw problems with C&C Red
Alert on my Athlon X2, but the schedtool solution presented in bug
4487 worked for me [ http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=4487 ].

schedtool -a 0x2 -e wine
