Yes, I think that there should be a configure option which is "Enable
first run popup". Thus the default state is no pop up.  Thus we could
ask distros, when building their binaries, to enable this option.  And
since its not on by default it wouldn't bug any devs building from
IGT>

And yes I do think this data would be valuable.  Especially for the
d3d people who have a very rough idea of what to focus on (from what
they've told us at wineconf).
