do ERR messages imply bugs?

I was going to repeat this, both on this thread and on the MP2 bug
where he posted saying "you don't need MP to reproduce any more"
(which of course is simply hilarious), but I felt like it was
troll-bait more than anything else. It seems to me that Chris thinks
there's a 1:1 mapping between ERR and bug!
