Translators wanted!

Hey Aric, can you please explain?
In both Pootle and Transifex you can have a language maintainer.

In Pootle you can set permissions for each and every user as the maintainer
while in Transifex you can only allow or disallow people who want to assist
(And they have full permissions, they can affect the translation without
the intervention of the maintainer).

Or am I getting it all wrong?
