You are fairly lucky with Guild Wars 2. I didn't see any improvement
in this game myself. But as Henri said, it depends a lot on the game
and your GPU and CPU.

Afair GW2 uses dynamic surfaces, so the patchset doesn't achieve its
full potential yet. Even if it does, it removes fixes one potential
performance issue. It doesn't magically fix everything.
