Please don't send a patch-set that relies on earlier, uncommitted
patches.  Since the total number of patches is now 15, I suggest
sending prehaps 6 or 7 at first to avoid spamming the list.

In a quick look at your first set, I'd suggest swapping
[2/3] and [3/3] (and possibly moving them before [1/3]).
