Variant tests

Hi,

Updates/Fixes for variant tests.

Sylvain, can you apply the attached patch and send me the full output
of 
running the 2 tests? I can't duplicate the failures you are seeing
with any 
oleaut32 version here, but testing with a really really old version
lead to 
some changes that may help.

Dmitry, this should fix the test failing on your Win2K box also. If
it doesn't 
please let me know.

    Remove tests that are covered by vartype.c
    Call by pointer for more functions not available in early
