[OLE #112] Hack Around Broken State Management

Hi,

I waited to see if this patch is really necessary, but unfortunately it 
is. Mike Hearn has a real fix for the problem, but I want to wait for 
the dust to settle first and before merging his patch. This patch is 
needed for InstallShield to work as it does a sequence of marshal, 
unmarshal, marshal, unmarshal which currently fails.

Changelog:
Hack around broken state management so InstallShield works.
