[kernel] backout patch to OpenFile (exists) + test

This patch backs out
http://www.winehq.org/pipermail/wine-patches/2005-October/021218.html and
changes the test to reflect the changes.

The backout is required because the old test fails on Windows XP SP 1 and
causes regression in No One Lives Forever Mega Mix Demo - Version 1.002
(ftp://ftp.lith.com/pub/nolf/NOLFDemo.zip)
