Yes, I've submitted patches to wine with Evolution. To get a patch to
not wrap is easy, but figuring out where it is is the hard part ;-)

Here's how it's done:
1. Under the Subject line you should see a drop-down box that says
"Normal" in it. Change this to "Preformat." 

2. Make sure the "Word wrap" option (in the Format menu) is turned off.

That's it...your patch shouldn't be wrapped.
