I've found somewhere that such keys are created by the Microsoft
undocumented inseng.dll. They are sometimes created manually by
programs/admins to run installers in each user profiles - one can set
an executable that will be run before starting the explorer if the
program version in HKLM is different than in HKCU. We don't need
neither of these however there are programs (e.g. Framemaker 7.2) that
assumes that at least four such keys are present - if not they fail
with a division by zero exception. This patch adds some four UUIDs
generated with uuidgen.
