As confirmed by one of the authors of the algorithm himself, the algorithm
is free of any patents or copyrights.

It is totally without any copyrights!

Dear Professor Shirley,

I am interested in implemeting the algorithm of your article
An Efficient and Robust Ray?Box Intersection Algorithm

for the Wine project ( http://www.winehq.org )

Can I use use the code published in this paper as-in, or maybe is it
protected by
patents.
Is this code in public domain?

The project need to be careful with the license rights....

In the case where one can copy the code, could you post your answer to the
following
forum too: wine-devel at winehq.org<http://webmail.u-picardie.fr/horde/imp/message.php?index=9819#>

Thanks in advance

David Adam
