[1/5] d3d8, d3d9: Don't rely on the wined3d buffer type

Try 3...

I moved the directx.c changes that used to be in patch 5 into this patch as 
Henri suggested. Furthermore I split a part of the former patch 4 into a 
separate patch to avoid the temporary uglyness in buffer::GetDesc, and gave 
up on merging the Create calls at this point.

I'll send the fvf and format removing patches ones the buffer merge stuff made 
it in
