This patch depends on Detlef Riekenberg's patch from June 2008 and
expects it to have been applied:
http://www.winehq.org/pipermail/wine-patches/2008-June/056310.html

It was not committed due to bug 14085:
http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=14085

I started looking into some problems avifil32 had because Civilization
II would crash if it tried to play it's intro movie. This patch set
solves this problem and several others. I created a small program to
print information about the different headers in AVI files and to play
back the audio stream. Also with this program, many AVI files failed to
play (while they worked on Windows with it). The fixes I introduce also
allow my testing program to play back everything correctly.

Because some fixes may seem strange, I felt a test suite was really
necessary to show that this is really what's happening on Windows. All
the tests pass on both Windows 98 and Windows XP.
I hope my tests will motivate to solve bug 14085, I do not think I am
skilled enough to propose a decent solution for that.

Regards,
Julius
