mciseq: Fix error code path in async. command execution.

In the synchronous case, ExitThread is of course not applicable
 -- it might stop the main program!

Of course, an alternative is to not change the semantics from
NOWAIT to WAIT when thread creation fails and simply
return MMSYSERR_NOMEMORY ?
