Hi,

I'm sorry. Some synapse in my brain did not shout loud enough
"didn't DCB_EVENT succeed on xp with the mixer?"
and the signal got drowned amid the other callback issues.

Here I silenced the error.

Somebody who knows the mixer, plase (write a) test whether xp
actually signals events (it's not documented in msdn) or whether
mixerOpen just fails to signal an error.

Unfortunately, we currently have a deaf spot on the w2k audio side,
because testbot has not sound-enabled w2k machine. Until now, I've
been able to fill the gap and conduct tests myself on a w2k machine,
but those days will soon be gone.

I hope to be able to run the mixer test on w2k this Friday.

Regards,
 Jörg höhle
