Hi,

Yes, these patches are really that old.  They are the first 4
from my unfinished MCIMIDI rework.

I also have a good mcimidi testsuite that was tested on both w9x
and newer machines.  However, that is not submittable yet because
Wine's mciseq is still in too bad shape.  Incidentally, that testsuite
creates a test.mid file on the fly, testing various properties. Creation
is convenient as MIDI files are very small yet useful, unlike wave audio.

Test results show that mciseq was heavily reworked between w9x and NT/w2k.

It is really bad that there's no more w9x testbot.
