msvcp90: Handle npos as length in more places

Some people use npos for max length, and it just happens to work
because it's large.

Daniel Lehman fixed some, but not all, instances of this in
e8314684011d269aebab4655a6da9a615e8aa5fd

Fixes http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=31085

Piotr says the patch looks ok.
