I have posted an example with one (1) FAILED message.
If you get more something is not working. That means usually :

- either the patch is obsolete, because  other changes
in the source code have made it incompatible. Too bad.

- or the saving on disk does some changes to the
patch. You can  try to add -l to the switches for
the patch command. This ignore whitespaces in the
patch file. If it's not enough maybe your browser has
messed the patch in a hopeless way.

I don't think that Wine is a good solution for you.
