Shadow-Utils when updating

I have a version of wine installed that came with SuSE Linux 7.2. I go and 
downlaod the new .rpm, and when I run it to update my old verison it says 
it needs Shadow-Utils. I have that utility for SuSE installed, but in SuSE 
it is called shadow. If I try to install shadow utils, it conflicts with 
other things, and last time I removed the other things and installed shadow 
utils and had to reinstall Linux. My verison of Wine works fine without 
shadow-utils, but its old. HELP PLEASE :)
