obtaining wine

[Dominic-Luc Webb molmed]

I am hoping someone can tell me where I can obtain
latest Wine for linux i386 Slackware as a binary. I
never managed to get this to compile, so have never
used Wine.

Also, the main application I want to run is an
optics simulator called OsloLT. Maybe someone
knows of a list of software known to work
under Wine?
