Direct Connect in Wine

Anyone got neo-modus.com's Direct Connect file-sharing software to work
in wine ? 

I get just a popup with a red cross in and the text "Invalid Picture"
and an OK button, pushing it exits the program. This is what wine says:

Can this be what is causing the trouble or is that just a warning, and
the real problem might be something entirely different ?
