Firstly apparently neither GXexplorer nor Power Desk work properly with
TP6, even under winders. 

And secondly Sean Legassick (who wrote most of TP6) has said that he
believes Shell32.dll in wine is not ( or at least was not a few months
ago) developed enough to support TP6
