ms windows quake 3 on linux is this possible?

You honestly have all around 2 options with running Quake3.  You can go through
the process of installing the point release, then copying the *.pak files over
to your linux installation.  or just go and pay for Quake3 twice.

Honestly, it sounds harsh to say that you really should just pay for the game
twice, but Linux games need your support!  So far though, the only game that
you MUST buy two of is Descent3 (Loki changed the data file setup so that it is
incompatible with the Win32 version) but that doesn't really mean that you
should only buy Descent3.

Think about it this way.  Loki (and numerous other Linux companies) have been
making cut backs because they've underestimated Linux growth.  Now, if paying
even an extra $50 means that MORE games come out for Linux, what will you do? 
Don't think of it as "I've already bought Q3 once" think of it as "I now have
the oportunity to support the Linux gaming comunity"  OH! and after you buy it,
REGISTER it.

LET THEM KNOW LINUX GAMERS ARE OUT THERE, AND WILL PAY FOR GAMES!
