it tries to run with a specific VxD (virtual driver), which wine is
unlikely
to support ever. try to emulate an NT env (run wine with --version nt35 
or --version nt40 to see what gives). if the program is made to run
under
NT it shouldn't use the VxD, otherwise you're (mostly) stucked
