Hey Lovie,

Off the top of my head, I would say this is a Mandrake packaging/permisions 
bug.

There are several different ways to work around it, depending on how secure 
your system needs to be and how much effort you're willing to put into it.

1) setuid wineshellink.  Read the chmod man page to see how to do this.  This 
is generally considered poor security practice, so save this as a last resort.
2) Change permisions on /usr/lib/menu/wine so that it is world writable.  
Again, this is a potential security issue so think carefully before doing 
this.
3) chgrp /ust/lib/menu/wine to wine (if isn't there already) and add yourself 
to the wine group
4) Uninstall the Mandrake RPM then build wine-20020605 from source.  If this 
fixes the problem, report this as a bug to Mandrake.
