Absolute Newbie where is the executable Wine

If you installed CodeWeavers Wine 1.0-pre? (which is what is available
from Red-Carpet) then the executable should be in "/opt/wine/bin". 

However, it should have installed a script to start WINE in:
"/usr/bin/".
