newbie question: how to use apps/games that need to change cdrom/floppies

I couldnt find the solution in the docu.
If its could somebody point me in the right direction please.

Has anybody found a solution to this problem?
Is there a solution that works with wine?

I made some traces which show that these apps
SetCurrentDrive/SetCurrentDirectory away from the
cdrom/floppy they want to have changed.
but in the source I couldnt find a place where the
device is released.

So

CryOutLoud("Help");

Any ideas?
I would really appreciate it.
