ArcView 8.2

>I've gotten wine to run the installer for ArcView 8.2 .  It installs certain required components and then says that i must reboot the computer to continue the installation.  At this point i click the reboot m$ window and the installer closes.  i've tried both rerunning the installer at this point and actually rebooting, but either way, i always end up back at the beginning of the installation.  anyone have a clue how to convince the installer to get on with it?  any help is greatly appreciated

This should be solved by running the wineboot tool. It makes all the work
a reboot on Windows does after installing software.
